School Tuition for Kenyan girls

Background Info: Thebasics are that I began supporting (with the help of friends & family) a little girl named Mercy Barasa in 2009 to go to school in Kenya. In 2011 we were able to also send her younger sister, Edina as well. I met and lived with the Barasa Family in 2007 in the small western village near Bungoma Kenya, while completing a graduate school requirement in public health. I got to know the Barasa family, including their 5 daughters, Caro, Mercy, Edina, Dori and Maureen. I spent most of my time with Martin, going with him to all of the grassroots community groups in the surrounding villages to learn about their challenges and share ideas in an effort to get more funding from larger NGO's and non-profits for their organization. This resulted in making their organization a website to showcase their efforts to support various members of their communities, such as HIV/AIDs groups, youth groups, etc. In between that, I spent time at their compound with their daughters playing games like duck-duck goose, teaching them to throw a frisbee, the joys of bouncy balls or just sitting on maize sacks shucking beans. Anyways, I am so grateful to everyone to help me do this each year, and hope that it brings you satisfaction and joy to know how much of a difference you are making in the lives of the Barasa girls and for Martin and his wife, Isabella. So THANK YOU!!! :)

UPDATE! Here is a letter from Carolyne I just received on November 13th, 2015.  She is Martin's eldest daughter.
