Young Moms SSM Holiday Event

Hi everyone! My name is Samantha Palmer and I am the creator of the new Facebook group called Young Moms SSM. I created the page as a support group for young mothers in the city to have a some where to go to ask for advice, relate to other young moms, make friends and have a safe place to turn to in a time of need. I decided to host an event for Christmas for everyone in the group, I wanted to give everyone a wonderful Christmas, we never know the situtation some young girls/families are in , especially around the holidays can it be extremely tough. We have a venue donated to us for the event but there will be other costs, we decided on a potluck idea for food, ONLY for girls who can help out.  We will need drinks, snacks, I want every child to leave with a little something to get the excitment of Christmas incase they can't experience that like others can.  I will also have a donation table set up for clothing, and non perishable food items that everyone is free to take if they are in need.  ANYTHING will help! If there are left over donations I want to be able to get Christmas dinner meals or everyday products a lot of young moms struggle with everyday, diapers, formula, winter clothing. The event will be taking place on December 18th.
