Young Mom Leaving Domestic Violence

This is really hard for me to be open about and make myself vulnerable enough to ask for help because I’ve been fighting this battle for so long on my own. Since at this point I have nothing else to lose, I figured now is the time. I’m Katelyn, a 22 year old mom of a 16 month old daughter who I’ve stayed home with since the day she was born. I’m making this in hopes of some extra support for moving costs while I leave my abusive environment for somewhere safer for me and my daughter, hopefully states away. I met her father when I was 17 years old and moved in with him shortly after dating him. I spent the last 5 1/2 years in and out of a relationship with him which I am now leaving for the last time. I spent most of the last two years not working and staying home with our daughter, like most controlling relationships he had a strong preference over being the provider for our family. Giving me as little access to money as possible, even while I was working he took entire paychecks from me altogether on multiple occasions. Aside from financial and physical abuse, what took the biggest toll on me has been the daily mental and verbal abuse I’ve had to endure over the last few years, with him screaming at me on a daily basis and putting me down. Over the course of our relationship he regularly physically abused me, it went as far as him throwing a metal bar stool at me and once hit me in the stomach while I was pregnant, (which I called the authorities, and went to the emergency room. I received no relief because he had already left the home before they got there.) he has attempted to throw me down stair cases, punched me, choked me, picked up and thrown me, and jumped on more times than I can count. Yesterday I was supposed to go to an orientation to go back to school, which was the same morning as the video I have attached. He is blocking all of my attempts to move on and become financially stable with out him so I truly felt like this was the last resort I could turn to. I have already filed a police report. There will be a protection order for me and my daughter today, but I need to come up with an immediate way to leave and seek a safer environment for my daughter and I. All donations will go towards our moving and relocating costs, to restart our lives and seek happiness.
