You want it , i got it ICE CREAM TRUCK

Thank you for clicking this fund me page and taking intrest in the venture Of building a ice cream truck for the kids of my community.
I woke up from a dream that i had a ice cream truck and my nephew was with me giving ice creams to his friends. I looked on craigslist and to my surprise it was only 1 for sale in the whole Northern California!!! It was destined to happen.
I sold my daily driver to come up with funds to purchase it. After getting it .. it needed a lot of work. The inside was rusted and untasteful. It needed a total remodeling.  After taking it to a custom upholstery place they quoted me an outrageous price.
 I researched the internet and youtube and found i could sand and paint it myself. I took some of my extra funds and bought a sander and got to work. After 2 days none stop grinding and scraping and applying de contamination chemicals 8am to 8pm i cleared all rust and debris.
My nephew wanted to join in on it so i showed him how.

Once we  completed that, we agreed on a color that we felt was bright and vibrant.   Sundance yellow!!  So i primer and painted!

The inside came out great.  As a child when we heard the ice cream man coming, we would break any piggy bank we where saving for something we reay wanted to get that favorite ice cream bar. Dig in couches and ask everybody we seen on the way to the truck for anything they could spare.
I have alot of young children in my family and i thought to myself i would like to reverse the thought of the ice cream man.  What if they could be the ice cream man and serve the ice cream. I want to give them and opportunity at early entrepreneurship. Which ever one of my children nieces or nephews that goes on a route with me will learn invertory and budget.  Part of the exterior design will be a collage of them having summer fun.


And thats where im looking for help and support. I was saving  money for custom rap. I live in a rough neighborhood in the eastbay where their is a lot of crime  and not much opportunity or people that care to engage the youth. One day  while out working on my truck a shooting occured . I ducked and covered my self because i was unaware of where it was coming from. When it ceased, to the unfortunate event a older man a block away was struck and murdered. This was very sad and unfortunate. The next day officers came back to my neighborhood and my truck was parked just a 2 inches from the curb past the limit and the officer told me he was towing my truck. I begged and pleaded with him that i didnt have the funds to get it from a tow. I told him how this is a project for the urban children to learn and have a different outlet.  He told me he didnt care what it was for and that he called a tow truck already. I was stuck helpless and unheard.

I went into the last of my funds and had to borrow money to get it from the tow.  Everyday it was getting higher and higher. I recieved the truck back and now i dont have enough to get my permit and outside display.
