Y.K.D KINGS EMPOWERING THE YOUTH

On behalf of the Y.K.D. Kings Basketball Team, we would like to extend an invitation to you or your company to become a sponsor for our 2016 travel basketball season and beyond. Youth Kingdom Development is a non-profit, tax deductible, community-based organization which serves Gaston County and other surrounding communities whose mission is to:  
·       Empower and Inspire young people, giving them a firm foundation to learn life skills through sports.

·       Provide youth with organized competition in a safe environment.

·       Bring our youth closer together through common interest in sportsmanship and competition.

·       Acquaint the players with the fundamentals of the game; passing, shooting, rebounding, dribbling, defense, and teamwork.

·       Teach sportsmanship, discipline and love of the game.

·       Encourage the players to maintain satisfactory grades in school and to emphasize the importance of keeping a proper relationship and balance between scholastic and athletic endeavors.

The Y.K.D Kings Basketball program is rapidly becoming one of the top travel basketball programs in the nation, our 7th grade 13U team ranked #3 in the nation at the 2015 NTBA National Championship and Our 8th grade 14U team ranked #14.  We are dedicated to building men of character through basketball and helping kids change their lives on and off the court!  Our High Academic and Community Outreach Programs set us apart from other travel basketball programs and instill in our student-athletes the importance of academic excellence and giving back to the community.

We are looking for sponsors who are willing to donate any dollar amount to assist in covering our major expenses such as gym rental expenses, equiqment gear, tournament fees, travel expenses, scholarships, and other costs associated with our organization. All donations are greatly appreciated and help ensure the success of this beneficial organization to our youth.
