New Bobcat Exhibit

Bruemmer Park Zoo has been a small, county owned zoo in Kewaunee County Wisconsin for over 70 years. Recently, the Zoological Society has undertaken the task of reconstructing the animal exhibits that were outdated and undersized. Two exhibits have already been completed. The next scheduled exhibit is for the two bobcats, Bella and Baxter. They currently have very limited space. In addition, the exhibit is unsafe because it doesn't provide a good means to isolate the bobcats while zoo employees clean the exhibit and/or care for the animals. The proposed project will include replacing the existing fence while making the exhibit approximately 1.5 times larger, a new secondary fence, new houses, and a seperate feeding/isolation area.
