*** THIS IS A DESPERATE PLEA TO HELP US SAVE LIVES ***
We are all absolutely devastated to have been told recently that a colony of cats in the Gold Coast area is going to be culled.
This ENTIRE colony will be getting culled very soon and we are desperately trying to save them BUT we need your help.
These cats and kittens deserve the right to live and we will do everything we possibly can until the last minute to save these innocent lives!
Our only hope to save all of these cats and kittens is for you to help us by taking care of a cat / kitten. This will be TEMPORARY care for approximately 4-6 weeks. As we will then be able to collect them from you and have their vet work completed before they head off to their new home.
We need people who are willing to keep these cats / kittens in a safe and secure environment. These cats are not feral, although they will be unsure, they may hide and only eat after you've left the room. We have already successfully managed to save some kittens, so we know this is achievable as they have been tamed quickly with the carers patience, love and kindness (pic below).
They will need to be kept in a separate room or garage, away from all your other animals for the duration of their stay with you.
We will provide you with EVERYTHING you need including litter, food, bowls etc etc.
There are at least 25 cats that need to be saved. We are allocating $130 per cat to have full vet work completed, and all their flea, worming and food needs for the next 6 weeks. 25 x $130 = $3250.
With your donation to help us reach out goal we will be able to help this lovely colony get the vet work, food and love that they need. Even if you can afford $1 it all helps to go towards helping this colony. :)
