FLOODED HOUSE REPAIRS
Donation protected
Thank you for taking interest in YaYa's Flood Repair account! Ms. Kindrick's home suffered severe damage during the horrible storms we encountered in the Upstate during Hurrican Joaquin. Due to Spartanburg County not being declared a disaster area, Ms. Kindrick is unable to receive federal assistance for the repairs.
Even in her time of need, she made it a point to donate bottle water to those in Columbia and Charleston. Her outlook, "My home may be flooded, but I have clean drinking water and food which is more than they have right now."
Friends and family are rallying together to make sure 70 year old, retired, Ms. Kindrick is taken care of. Local Girl Scout Troop 2659 is gathering donations of cleaning supplies to help clean the mildrew and mold and the Motor Racing Outreach will be donating their time to clean and make repairs. However, we need donations in order to pay for floor, wall and HVAC repairs.
Lets show Ms. Kindrick we are a caring and giving community! Thank you for your help!
