Elect Limerick's First Green TD

I'm very proud to have been selected as the Green Party candidate to contest the Limerick City constituency in the upcoming General Election.
While I've taken an active interest in politics for many years, both as an observer and a background participant, I feel now that the time is right to step in from the sidelines and get involved, to help bring about positive change in Limerick and Ireland.
We must build trust and partnerships necessary to ensure fair, transparent and effective governance of our country. Ireland needs an innovative and sustainable economic model that benefits society as a whole, instead of the boom and bust cycles that have been a feature since independence. We need better politics, that look to the long-term well-being of the country, rather than damaging short-term thinking.
Over the coming weeks and months, I will be working to restore a green voice to Dáil Éireann, and I would be very grateful if you would give me your Number 1 vote in 2016.
(As an ordinary citizen, I have no funding to run the campaign, apart from what I can raise myself. The Green Party is not funded from the public purse. Contributions must be personal, not corporate.)
WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO THIS?
I joined the Green Party because I share its values. Good planning, strong communities, decent services, improved education, the creation of a fair Green economy, protecting our water and preparing for climate change – these are all interconnected. One thing enhances another.

HOW WILL I SPEND YOUR MONEY?
To do this I want to raise €3000. This money will be used as follows:
€100 - Phone/communications
€200 - Room Rental (for meetings)
€150 - Printing/Photocopying
€150 - Online advertising
€400 - Flyers/Leaflets
€1000 - Letters to electors
€1000 - Posters
