Ruperts Roof Appeal

£1,530 of £2,500 goal

Raised by 46 people in 19 months
Fiona Louise Oakes  Asheldham, ENG
Rupert has a large shelter that he shares with all his friends at Tower Hill Stables Animal Sanctuary. It is 23m by 10m but the roof has been leaking and was declared unsafe - we had to have it taken down and are desperate to get a new one before the Winter starts as the rescued horses must have somewhere they can get out of the wind and rain - Rupert shares his shelter with up to 25 other horses who live at this particular sanctuary site

The new roof will be guarenteed for 25 years and we need to find £2,500 to pay for the materials

If you can help Rupert and his friends will be very grateful

Like all his friends, Rupert was saved from slaughter by Fiona who cares for 57 horses in all at the Sanctuary plus hundreds of other animals

Thank you :)

I can't help saying this, but I say it to all the animal rescue charities out there-Why are the obscenely wealthy lottery winners, not saving all these animals with all their money, that cruel humans are responsible for in the first place? The money they have is sickening, and I have never heard of one single lottery winner giving one penny to help animals! Dear God, the interest they make on their winnings alone is shocking, they wouldn't miss some of that, but still they won't part with a penny! It makes my blood boil! I want to win the lottery and it will ALL go to animals! Humans can go to hell!

This donation has been raised by selling 2nd hand horsey rugs that have been donated by my horsey friends. I hope having the cash is more useful rather than me sending the rugs this time, as I have done in the past. I hope the horses love their new roof :)
