Northeastern Utah Mountain Bikers, or NUMB, is a non-profit educational association whose mission is to create, enhance and preserve great trail experiences for mountain bikers in northeastern Utah. NUMB seeks to preserve, protect, and promote mountain bike access and diverse riding opportunities on Utah’s public and private lands through education, communication, and unified action.
We are a recently integrated chapter of IMBA, the International Mountain Bicycling Association, and as such we are still very small with only a dozen contributing members. That's ok though. We'll get there. We just need a little extra income this year to get our message out, get some fundraising done, and purchase insurance.
In fact, we'd like to hold a fun event that has been held in the past, NUMBfest, over Memorial Day weekend, but with more community involvement this year -- with scheduled group rides, kid's events, and community sponsors. In order to have the event we envision, we need liability insurance to cover our members and cover our event. This video and campaign explains what we are planning for NUMBfest and exactly how much we need. Uintah County has already contributed; we hope you'll consider a donation as well.
