Sleeping bags for Jesus

We are raising money to buy sleeping bags for our  homeless friends. We donate the sleeping bags on Thursday nights under the Burnside Bridge in downtown Portland through a non-profit called Bridgetown Ministries.  Bridgetown sets up an event every Thursday night under the bridge called Nightstrike.   Nightstrike sets up dignity stations for its guests that include a hair cutting statiton, and foot washing station, a clothing/blanket station and more.  They also provide a homecooked meal for all of the guests and volunteers that attend.  My boys started attending Nightstrike when they were 6 and 4 years old.  They were so moved by the experience they wanted to help.  They started their own ministry called "Sleeping bags for Jesus".  They come up with creative ways to raise money to buy sleeping bags to hand out at Nightstrike.  The boys are 14 and 12 now and have recruited their 9 year old twin sisters to help.  Because of health issues I have not been able to help them as much this year so I thought I would throw this out there for anybody wanting to help the kids reach their new goal.  To date the kids have handed out over 1000 sleeping bags and they really want to get to 2000.  Please consider helping.
