Hello friends,
We are the Lyman's (Lynn, Sue, Kyle, and Norma), and we have had the privilege to share close relationships with the Elliott family over three generations.
The Lyman's and Elliott's grew up next door to each other in Coldwater, MI. The first close Elliott/Lyman relationship was between the two moms, Judy and Norma, who are still besties. Alan, Kenny, and Lynn also became best buddies, and they remain so to this day. Alan and Dawn's youngest son, Keegan, and our son Kyle, have also grown up as best friends and they are now seniors in H.S. We have cherished the uniqueness of the "family" that has developed between all of us over the past 50+ years. Supporting Alan and his family during Alan's battle with brain cancer is something that we are passionate about.
Alan has already undergone radiation treatments and he is doing well. On September 11th he will start chemotherapy treatments that will continue throughout the next year.
At this time, Alan is unable to work and the absent income has hit the family hard. Medical bills and household bills have become difficult to manage. They have been thankful for the support of some local resources and previous "Go Fund Me" support. Their financial needs have increased and they are very much in need support from their family, friends, and loved ones.
Alan's prognosis looks good and continuing his treatments is vital to his recovery. Please consider a financial donation for Alan and his family with "Go Fund Me." Donations of ANY amount will be helpful.
