Gamteysa Muhamed

Gamteysa Muhamed has been missing since September 7, 2014. It has been ten months since any family or friends have seen or heard of him. During the time of Gamteysa's disappearance we were often turned down by local authorities, who told us numerous times that this was common for "our kind." We were also told "try looking in fields for his body or a burning car," and that if we were so eager to look for him, to do it ourselves. We could not count how many times our family has been disrespected and dehumanized by the authorities before they even decided to place him as a missing person. For several days they refused to place him as a missing person, we as a family took it upon ourselves to begin to pass out flyers throughout the city. Please help us to raise money for his reward fund and awareness. Thank you.
