Bell Family-Century Tornado Victims

Donation protected
9-1-1 Dispatcher Heather Bell and family were displaced after a tornado ripped though the small town of Century Florida on February 15th, 2016. Heather is an Emergency Communications Dispatcher for Escambia County Florida and was working at the time the storm moved in. She warned her family to take cover and continued to answer 9-1-1 calls during the storm.

Heather’s husband and daughter made it though the storm without injury, but the family’s home was a complete loss. The roof was heavily damaged by wind and trees, causing unsalvageable water damage to the inside of the house.  The Bell’s family home was uninsured due to its age and the family was able to salvage only a few personal items.

Heather continued to answer the emergency calls of others after being informed of the loss of her home, showing dedication to duty and selfless character.

Please help the Bell’s get back on their feet. Any amount would mean so much to them at this time. If you are unable to help with funds, please keep them in your prayers and share their story with others.

Thank you!
