Help me change my name

I'm asking for help to legally change my name. I've went years using a dead name and have found really rad ways to get around it. I do work but I do non profit work and while I do life changing work every day the pay isn't exactly life changing. Speaking of work, I help 12,000 people each year and today something happened that's never happened. An angry client pulled a knife on me. I was able to convince him to leave and call the police. However when I spoke to the police moving forward on charges could get messy having to use my legal name. If charges are brought onto this individual and I'm not allowed to go use initals in legal documents then I will instead drop the charges to prevent putting myself in further danger. While I did convince the client to leave he did say he will catch me at home. He often walks by my home and I believe he does know I live there. He has a history of violent crime convictions. He has also made transphobic comments but is not aware I am trans. He's already pulled a weapon on me and knows where I live. This is why I would drop charges because if he's already threatening me and doesn't know I'm trans I can't imagine what he'd do if he knew I am trans. Thanks for reading. I hate asking for help with money shit so while I hate making a go fund me I'm in a place where a name change needs to happen because it's causing several significant problems in my life lately.
