Last night our Fit Family member and friend, Marci Sturgill and their 2 boys, suffered a devastating loss and the earth lost an angel. Lumpy, beloved husband, son, father and owner of Lumpy's Diner passed away.

Lumpy was known and valued for all he gave to others and for the friend and business owner he was in our community. He loved his family and his infectious smile, his passion for his customers and for his business will be missed

Please consider making a donation to help The Sturgill Family. They need the community that Lumpy so willing loved on to give back in an effort to help ease the financial pain that this devastating loss can cause a family that is self employed. All funds donated will go directly to the Sturgill Family.

Thank you in advance for your donation and it comes with much love and many prayers to you and your boys Marci! Xo

Our hearts are heavy with the sudden passing of Jeremy "Lumpy" as everyone knew him. Although we didn't know him personally, we would see him frequently when we went in for breakfast. Our condolences to Marci and his beautiful boys and to his parents and the many family and friends that knew him so well. God Bless the Sturgill family during this very difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Sturgill Family. My husband met Lumpy at Diggers when he was still in high school, and often went to Lumpy's after golf. A great hardworking teen turned into great gentleman. RIP.

My wife and I started going to Lumpy's in Antioch in 2008, shortly after it opened. Saturday breakfasts and occasional Friday night dinners were regular stops. My wife passed a year and a half ago, but I continue to make Lumpy's a regular destination. I chatted with him several times about how the diner was doing, the 49ers, etc. Just a likeable guy with a wonderful smile. My thoughts and prayers are with Marci and Jeremy's entire family.

I never met Lumpy or had the opportunity to go to one of his restaurants, but my foundation contractor helped him open up one of the restaurants most weekday mornings, so I figured there was something very special about Lumpy, and based on the outpouring of support, that is definitely the case. Best wishes to his wife and kids, and I hope all who knew him well will make sure that his kids grow up knowing how special their dad was. This donation is on behalf of the Strawn Family - Dave, Carolyn, William, and Erica.
