Stephen Ortega Celebration of Life

On Wednesday February 10th, the world lost an amazing soul with an infectious smile.  The family of Stephen Blake Ortega is mourning the sudden loss of their son and brother.  Stephen was always known for his huge smile and crazy laugh.  Whether you had special needs or you were the most popular kid in school, Stephen treated everyone the same...like they were his friend for life.  Rosemary and Michael Ortega along with Alexis Ortega and Michael Vincent Ortega are mourning the loss of their son and brother.  Many of you remember how many wonderful things that this family would do for others such as cook for the entire football team every Thursday before the game. The times they would show up to baseball games with enough burritos and refreshments for anyone who needed or desired them. The generosity of this family was endless. I have been blessed to call them my friend along the way. When asked "What can we do to help", the normal response from this family was "just pray." I think we can do more. Please ever one come together and skip Starbucks today to donate to this special family in this difficult time. We cannot image the stress and heart break they must be going through, but if we can ease some burdens at this time for this special family, we can support Stephen in a final send off.
