Teammate Devastated by Fire
Donation protected
One of our brothers, a recent refugee from the Congo who was shot as a young boy during a rebel raid on his village and was essentially hobbled as a result of that and a botched surgery, along with his 5 siblings and parents, lost everything in an apartment fire this week.
Josh came to the field everyday ready to play and it was obvious that he was willing to leave everything on the line for his brothers. He never allows his disability to effect his efforts on or off the field. He is easily the most selfless person on the team and deserves all of the help and support we can provide.
As a football family, we would like to ask everyone to make a small money donation to help the family get back on their feet. If you would like to donate any lightly used clothing or any other items, please drop them off at the Banting Phys. Ed office as soon as possible.
There are 5 boys with ages 6-17 and 2 parents.
Please help us support one of our brothers.
Any donation is greatly appreciated.
