Kelvin's Van

Kelvin has a very rare neurological condition called CLIPPERS Syndrome.  It has stripped him of the use of his armsand legs and caused severe wasting of the muscles in his legs which has confined him to an Electric Wheelchair.
With not having the use of his arms he is unable to transfer from his chair to the car and outings are not possible because of the lack of a vehicle that  Kelvin and his wheelchair  can fit into.  We have the opportunity of purchasing a 1992 Toyota van that has a lift already fitted in it, but I am unable to get finance approved as I am only on a Carers Pension. 
Kelvin sits in the lounge room and looks out the front window most of the day.  The use of a van would allow me to take him out which would give him a better quality of life.
