Long Live Shad(Rashad Farmer)

My son Rashad Farmer was tragically murdered on July 13, 2015 in broad daylight and his case remains unsolved. The loss of my beloved son, protective big brother and loving father of his unborn child has left not only my family devastated but also an empty hole in the hearts of friends and extended family that loved him.  As a family we are doing all we can to bring about justice for this tragedy, my son was killed as a result of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, he wasn't the intended target but the cowards that took his life, callous while missing the intended target,  killed my son and injured someone else in the process. Just randomly shooting up a residential street where children were outside playing. We have given the authorities all the information we have and are soliciting donations to raise the reward to bring the individual responsible for this to justice.   Due to this senseless act, Rashad leaves behind an unborn son, his girlfriend was 5 months pregnant at the time of the incident. He was so excited about being a father, since he grew up as a fatherless young man. Two weeks prior to his death, he was informed that they were expecting a BOY! He was so excited because a BOY is what they both wanted. He often looked at the ultrasound picture with so much happiness and pride to finally be having a child. From this incident his girlfriend is left to raise a fatherless son - not by choice, but because of someone's senseless act. My son and unborn grandson have both been robbed of an opportunity to meet each other, yet alone develop a father/son relationship. There is enough senseless killing going on and the pain that comes with it, no one should have to bear. I am asking for any donation to help increase the reward and to help prepare for his only child to be welcomed into the world. A child should have both parents in their life.
