World Kindness Day in Edmonton

In the summer of 2015 I was fortunate to meet Angela Frattaroli. She introduced me to a mission she had been working on for three years. On World Kindness Day (November 13th) she would selflessly purchase thousands of flowers, tag them with kind words, and hand them out all over Victoria, British Columbia. Inspired by this, I offered to help her bring her act of kindness to Edmonton--and kindnessyeg was born! For the past two years, myself and volunteers have handed out a total of 7,000 flowers to passers-by in the heart of Edmonton.

Kindnessyeg’s mission is to encourage daily random acts of kindness. We want people to know and feel that they are part of a community that supports them. We strive for people to share their stories and to show kindness and compassion towards their friends, colleagues, neighbours, or the person they sit next to on the bus.

We need your help:
Kindnessyeg is looking for donations to fund this random act of kindness. All proceeds will go towards the purchasing of flowers.
