We're Adopting!!

This is WAY out of our comfort zone, but we were encouraged to give this a try!
For a little over a year, we have been answering what we know to be a calling from God. We have been wanting to expand our family but for various medical reasons (unexplained) we are not able to do so naturally.
Very long story short, we ARE expanding our little family through foster/adopt!! The process has been...well...a long one to say the least!!
We are so close to welcoming our children home! Yes, I said children (plural). Our blessing may come in the form of TWO!
Of course at this point you are probably wondering why in the world we are asking for donations...
We have a "finished" basement that is far less than inviting and comfortable. We are needing to make an additional bedroom and add carpet to the space. We want this house to be all that it possibly can be for these kids. I hope that the space can serve as a great room and additional bedroom with the help of this fundraiser.
Above all, we ask (ok we beg) that you keep our family and future family in your prayers. Our greatest request is for our children, Ava included. This will be a transition that we will be a part of but will probably never fully understand. We pray that we will be wise in our words, patient, and understanding. We pray that our children will know God's great love through our actions and examples.
This is such an exciting time and experience, but I must say the butterflies are fluttering like crazy!!!!!
