Orhcard Gardens K-8 Pilot School, located in Roxbury, Ma., has it's first ever hockey team. The team consists of twenty-five 6th and 7th grade boys and girls, who have never played hockey let alone put on a pair of skates!
These student atheletes are obsessed with the sport of hockey after only a few practices. It's amzaing to witness.
It would mean the world to us to be able to walk around our neighborhoods and school campus displaying our new found love for the sport of hockey as well as display our pride in our school.
So, as a team, we are looking to rasie $2,500 dollars to buy sweatshirts that have our team logo on it and show our pride for our school and our new sport.
