With hope to find a new treatment!

Hello my name is Jadi! I’m 30 years young and I’ve been on a progressive journey through Breast Cancer since I was 22. And after 6 years, I was then diagnosed in May 2016 as stage 4 ‘incurable’ disease and my cancer was now in my Bones, Liver and Lungs. Then, out of the blue it decided it would progress again this time to my brain. My cancer is aggressive, and unwilling to behave and unfortunately my treatment options available are running out and time is of the essence. Therefore, I thought if I could do a bit of my own research into different treatments and get a referral to another specialist cancer hospital perhaps I may stand a chance at a longer lifespan with my family, husband and dogs, which would be my dream! I will try and post a video soon, as I feel it’s difficult to portray who I am and why I’ve decided to do this now.
I hope this information will do as a bit of insight for now! :) xxx

HEALTH UPDATE!!!!!

Hey guys!!!! Please see my video below for my most recent news!!!! (Please watch the video first) before reading on as it won’t make sense otherwise!!!

As an additional update from the video, my oncologist at the NHS said there may be a trial that I could qualify for! Brand new and I think there is currently 1 person on it in Nottingham, so that means a potentially new treatment that I may be able to have! Whoop! Then we spoke about the private drug and he said he wasn’t sure how that and the chemo I’m currently on would work together (ie he said they haven’t ever tested the two drugs at the same time and doesn’t want me to have a reaction!) fair one!!!! so he said I have got x2 more chemos - which are working well, then re-assess at the end of the 6 chemos and see what’s happening. Then, he gave me my scan results which are showing that ALL AREAS are showing response and most areas have shown reduction in size!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even in the brain!!!!

It’s a bloody good present from my side!!!!! And my Go Fund Me is still going which is great for my appointments and drugs privately! So please all have a drink for me over Xmas! I’m SO overjoyed and I have been given 2weeks off my chemo to enjoy the festive period, so hopefully I’ll see some you over this 2 weeks to celebrate!!

So Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!!!! Xxxxx

HEALTH UPDATE AND FUND RAISER UPDATE!!!!!!!

Hey everyone, just thought I’d post a quick update with some health info and also fund progress.

I’ve actually just switched to a different oncologist - since the one who replaced my old oncologist who I’ve been with from day one STILL hadn’t done my referrals and when she did do them, only had half of my medical notes, which were incorrect. Sooooo I’ve switched to another oncologist who I’ve worked with previously and knows me and my cancer also, although he’s said there’s a high potential that whatever Royal Marsden may have as an alternative treatment/trial - City Hospital will most likely already do.... however he will do the new amended referrals and send them for me and also came up with other suggestions, I’m due to have some more scans as well reasonably soon to see what the last lot of whole brain radiotherapy has done and the current lot of chemo, although I’ve not managed a full 3 rounds yet due to my lungs and infections etc... just to see what’s occurin’. So hopefully I’ll have these bloomin referrals by the end of the year!!!!

Also I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone’s fund raising efforts!!!! Go Fund me’s total is a little bit off because I’ve had some direct donations straight to my account! So we’ve reached £69.5k so far!!!! This is incredible and totally amazing!!!! Just goes to show no matter how big or small your donations, it’s helped me so nearly reach my target!!!!! I could not thank you all enough.
