Wienke Christmas

The Wienke’s are an amazing family who adopted a sibling group of 4 in 2017 to add to their existing family of 3 biological children and 3 internationally adopted children. Shortly after their children came home, they relocated to Door County to be close to family and joined our church family at Sturgeon Bay Community Church. They have been an inspiring model of selflessness and obedience to God as they integrate into the community and show others the love of Jesus through the tears and joys of being a large diverse family.

In considering the way to bless them during this Christmas season, we have focused on the importance of relationships and the value of memories and shared experiences without the distractions or demands of daily living. Large adoptive families crave the opportunity to have time together with love and laughter rather than material gifts. We hope to provide them a special time of bonding with a weekend away at Wisconsin Dells, a Christmas gift they will remember and reminisce about in years to come.
