WHHS Marching Band Trip to Paris

We are the Walnut Hills High School Marching Band from WCincinnati Ohio. Our award winning band has been invited to represent the USA in the 2016 New Year's Day Parade in Paris, France. This is a huge honor for our band and we are very excited. We are are doing this campaign because we need help getting our entire band over to Paris for the parade. To sound our very best while representing the USA we need as many members of our band as possible.
Walnut Hills High School is the #1 high school in Ohio and according to US News and World Report we are the 65th high school in the nation. We are very proud of our ranking and what makes us even more proud is the fact that we are a public high school.
Walnut Hills offers the most AP (Advanced Placement) classes of any high school in Cincinnati. We love our school for all the diversity a public school can offer. We have racial, social and economic diversity. It is this diversity that makes our school great. It is also the reason for this campaign. Because of the economic diversity of our school and our band we have a portion of our band that can not afford the trip to Paris. We have done many fundraisers and have worked to raise money but still are unable to get everyone to join us.
Our band staff does a fantastic job of keeping our fees down so anyone who wants to be in the band can.
Our band is the largest team at Walnut Hills and has won the most awards. We have the distiction of having recieved straight 1's (Superior Rating) at the OMEA finals for the last 12 years.
Our Marching Band is one of the oldest Marching Bands in the state of Ohio and possibly in the country.
Our band members spend an average of 1000+ hours each season learning, practicing, rehearsing and performing.
We are one of only 2 high school marching bands for the USA invited to participate in this parade. We are one of only 4 marching bands total that will perform in the parade.
We want to represent the USA in the best way possible and to do that we need to have the majority of our band with us.
