What makes you H.A.P.P.Y.?

Our mission as H.A.P.P.Y (Hays Arc Park People for the Youth), is to help create a robust fundraising campaign to raise at least 1,000 dollars to help build a handicap accessible recreation complex available to all people. We are a Leadership 310 group that has partnered with the Hays Arc Park Recreational Complex to help them gain enough funds to build an accessible playground, slash pad, and baseball field. The ARC Park will be the first recreation project of its kind in Western Kansas. There are no accessible recreational complexes from Kansas City to Denver, which means that the Hays area is lacking a fun environment for all children, specifically physical and mental ailments, to be able to spend time getting exercise outdoors. This will provide safe play opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities. Every child deserves an awesome park!
