We now have a website for further information

My name is Jerry Fairlie and my association with Mountain Ranch Ca. was through music. I am a saxophonist ‌and played with some friends in Mountain Ranch.

I received emails from friends addressing the concern that the Butte Fire was closing in fast and they may have to evacuate. Many people lost everything.

I went to Mountain Ranch, from Folsom, to see firsthand the devastation. When I came home I knew I had to do something. I have several musician friends and decided to have a benefit concert. No one has turned me down to perform.

The City of Folsom is partnering with me by allowing me to use the Community Center on October 25, 2015. The theme is "Folsom Families Care".

All proceeds go to the Mountain Ranch Community Fund and will be dispersed by local leaders for their residence needs.

I have never been so dedicated to helping the people of Mountain Ranch.

They are a hardy lot and don't ask for much, but they need us now.

Our thanks to all the contributors to the Mountain Ranch Butte Fire benefit concerts. We accomplished our goal of $10,000 by 10%. The money has been delivered to the "Mountain Ranch Community Fund" for distribution. Very proud of the team and the City of Folsom Ca for supporting our effort.

Yesterday the benefit concert team made a roadtrip down to Mountain Ranch which is about an hour and a half South of Folsom. We met with the movers and shakers in the community and delivered all of the donation checks and a cashiers check with a total of $8597. This is short of our $10,000 goal but, I am very proud of our team and the fact that the money goes directly to the families of Mountain Ranch.
Today, I am picking up a check from the Folsom Masonic Lodge for $610. So we are nudging the $10k mark.
I am keeping this account open for an additional 2-3 months. So spread the word.
Our thanks to everyone that donated and helped with the concert.
These are the folks from Mountain Ranch that met us yesterday. One community helps another community.

Our thanks to everyone that has donated. Your contributions will go directly to the families of the Butte fire. This money will be available immediately while people are waiting for FEMA and insurance claims. Rain is coming and that just adds to the situation. Please give what you can knowing it is appreciated.
