NJ Foster's Speedy Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Nathaniel Foster, Jr., aka "NJ", son of Nathaniel Foster, Sr. and Pamela Watson-Foster, brother of one sister, grandson of two grandmothers and two grandfathers, nephew of seven aunts (including myself), two uncles, cousin of many and friend of many that care deeply for NJ and his family. NJ was an active football and basketball player at CVCHS. NJ is from Pittsburg, CA, is a student at San Diego State University, and beginning his second-year as a biology major.
September 1, 2016, was NJ's fourth day back to college after his summer break, he went out for the evening, parked his car, was walking with some friends, and  a moving vehicle struck him. The injuries from the accident are severe and have changed NJ's life for many years to come as he now have severe nerve damage to his spinal cord. As you can imagine, after 19 years of healthy living, walking, talking, playing sports of all kinds, singing, dancing, hoping to become a pediatric neurosurgeon, and being the life of every encounter with others; this is overwhelming and very difficult for NJ mentally and physically. Not only is this difficult for NJ but for all that know him, especially his friends and family. However, we are grateful for NJ's life and he is in his right mind, which gives us a lot of hope for a speedy recovery, in spite of statistics. NJ and his family have faith in God's miraculous healing power. However, in order for a miracle to take place, there must be a need. Certainly, we are in need for a miracle that ONLY God can generate. We are expecting God to reverse NJ's condition and give him complete healing and control of his body according to God’s timing, in the name of Jesus Christ. NJ and his family are preparing for the battle that is before them knowing that God's ears are open to their prayers and will see them through. NJ's parents are successful business professionals that strategically planned to care for NJ and his sister, financially. However, no one could ever plan financially or mentally for this kind of life-changing tragedy. Due to the severity of this tragedy, I am seeking your help financially to help this family as they prepare for the unimaginable with counseling, home remodeling accommodations, special living arrangements, required medical equipment, and extensive long-term in-home medical care. Your financial contribution large and small are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your prayers and financial support. God bless you.
