Thank you thank you thank you!! Your support has meant the world to us. We made it to Standing Rock, brought supplies, made connections, heard stories, and felt changed by our mission out there. And we couldn't have done it without your help. When we left we didn't have the means but just knew a way would be made for us.
As you've likely seen, on Tuesday January 24, President Trump issued an executive order to expedite the review and completion of the DAPL (as well as Keystone Pipeline). He didn't say "build it now" but basically he made it presidentially official that it's on his desk to be addressed and resolved. We will see how that goes... By now a lot has transpired regarding the Dakota Access Pipeline Protests at the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation. Much of what has transpired has been convoluted in the news. We can't read just one source anymore. It is still a pressing and complex issue. Water rights, indeginous rights, human rights. Please, please stay informed and stay talking about it. We must remain informed with accurate information and give voice to it.
