Water For Life Uganda 2017

In August 2017, 12 members of Scouts Canada will undertake an incredible opportunity. For 2 weeks, 7 youth and 5 scouters we will be going to Kampala, Uganda to drill well(s) to supply clean drinking water to a local village. We also plan on visiting schools and orphanages. All the funds we receive will go towards purchasing the equipment needed to drill the well(s) and allow the locals to use and maintain it. We will also purchase schools supplies and other items like soccer balls and tire pumps for the schools and orphanages. The 12 of us are just the start of making a positive change.
