Emergency Relief Fund

Donation protected
wood, propane, electricity...

The photo for this fund was taken in March, late winter, a few years ago by my friend and local contact, Bryan Deans.  It looks like a beautiful winter wonderland, which it certainly is for those of us who can come and go as we please, but for the indigenous people of this land who were placed there basically as P.O.W.s, the winter can be a terrifying, life threatening time of year.  Many living on the reservation do not have reliable transportation, and walking for a full day in -40 with wind and snow can be deadly, let alone miserable.

The donations collected through this account will be used as an EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND, so that people might have a better chance at surviving the winters on the reservation.  Bryan is one of a few local, native people who are working to make the reservation land and people thrive as they once did before the colonization began.  Until the project is complete, maybe SEVEN GENERATIONS,  or 300 YEARS,  Bryan is a contact who people know they can call on for help anytime of the year.

Please, if you feel called to share in the abundance granted you in this life, this cause is a worthy recipient.

With eternal love and gratitude,

Leigh
