Walker Home Community Project

Hello Friends,

There are times in your life that you meet a family that just touches your heart.  I met Aiysha Walker four years ago in Yellow Springs and later I was introduced to her mother, Sherry. We have been close friends ever since. As many of you know, last February Aiysha lost her father and Sherry lost her beloved husband, Robert Walker.

I started this GoFundMe account in order to give this loving family some much needed financial assistance for the repairs to their home.  Before Robert passed, their home sustained massive water damage from a leaking roof. Although the roof has been repaired, the differed maintenance from the water damage since Robert’s death has become an overwhelming undertaking for Sherry and Aisha.  

If you would like to help the Walker family, please consider donating to the GoFundMe. (You may donate anonymously if you like.) The majority of the money collected will be allocated for materials and labor. See estimates below.

In addition to donations, we are looking for volunteers to help with demo, clean up and small repairs. Also needed are donated items which will be listed as the project proceeds.
