The Wakatinku Foundation
Donation protected
Peter Cavanagh and Sasha Kramer have started this campaign to help the children who live in remote mountain villages in the high Andes above Cusco, Peru. Our first target is the village called Wakatinku. This community is impoverished and survives primarily through subsistence farming of potatoes and alpacas. Play the movie above to learn more about our first visit to Wakatinku where we delivered footwear, school supplies and personal hygiene materials.
On Friday May 27, 2016 we will run a medical clinic and hope to deliver 300 pairs of rubber boots and install computers in the primary school. These actions will have a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of the children of Wakatinku.
Please contribute to our goal of $3750 to make life better for these kids. A donation of only $21 could buy rubber boots for 3 kids.
We anticipate receiving Tax Exempt Status from the US IRS during 2016. This would make your donation tax deductible.
