Belleville Riverside Bike Park

Belleville Riverside Bike Park is a community project to build a 10-15 km trail network, dirt jumps, pump track, and skills park at Riverside Park in Belleville On.  This park will be free to use and accessible to riders of all ages and skill levels. The city parks department is graciously allowing us to use a large amount of park space for the project, but we are in need of funding to complete construction, and improve existing park infrastructure.

Riverside Bike Park is geared towards families and young people who are in desperate need of engaging and compelling outdoor activities. Once constructed plans are already in place to establish a summer camp, as well as bike rentals to promote both local use as well as bringing tourism to the area. A highschool race series is also in the works.

These funds raised through Gofundme will augment contributions from local service clubs and grants, and will be used to construct the course, build seating and covered picnic areas, signage, and building infrastructure at the park to facilitate further trail building. This is a very flexible project, so the more that we raise, the more we can build, and we hope that through cooperation between the community, local businesses, and City Hall, we can build something very unique that will be a great asset for all of us for years to come.
