YOUTH SPORTS FOOTBALL PROGRAM

My name is Christopher Alston. I am currently coaching the 12u Youth Football Team at Rosedale Recreation Center located in NE Washington, DC.
I am a Washingtonian who was educated through the public school system as well as a product of Rosedale Recreation Center, I was shot in 2003. And as a result, I am confined to a wheelchair for the rest of my life. But that didn’t stop the love and passion I had for football. My dreams of becoming a Professional Athlete were shattered but my passion for it has NEVER left me. Because of my misfortune it has inspired me to become a coach and mentor to give back to the community who stood with me despite my life’s journey.
With a small and simple donation, we need your help to help our younger generation.
The best offer that we can offer them as a recreational program is to give them a chance to stay away from the streets, focus academically and to become our future leaders. Not only do we practice, we also, offer educational tutoring on days that we don’t practice. We have a strong support group better yet a family. We have some really talented youth on our team; the league that we are affiliated with is Pop Warner Football.
Your contribution would assist us in buying uniforms and equipment needed for the upcoming season. We need your contributions in latest by June 30th.
