My name is Mandy and this campaign is for my sister Michelle. I live in Standish but she lives in Saginaw. The funds will all go to Michelle to be used to pay her bills, replace stolen items, and provide for her basic needs.
Michelle is fighting stage 4 breast cancer. She was diagnosed just before easter in 2013. Since then she has been through chemo, radiation, hysterectomy, masectomy, and is just beginning to go through reconstruction. Radiation has caused damage to her lungs.
Her family is trying to help as much as they can but they are stretched thin. Her daughter has four children under the age of 5. Her father has stage 4 throat cancer. He is currently in treatment as well. She also a niece Salem that was diagnosed at 22 month with a rare form of brain cancer. She has been through a 12 hour surgery and several rounds of chemo.
