My name is Joe Musselwhite (Mighty Joe) and I am asking for finacial assistance in expanding my ever growing Grip Museum where I collect and document all different types and brands of hand grippers and grip related devices from all over the world! My collection is a visual display for all to see , enjoy and learn from. The collection is 20 years in the making and has really grown over the last 7 years. The purpose of this collection is to collect, document and display all the various styles, types and brands of hand grippers and grips! I have spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours in making this collection possible. Unfortunately I no longer have the funds to expand and add new grippers to the collection and this is why I have chosen this route for potential assistance. Any and all funds will go towards expanding, revising and adding new grippers, displays, pics and MORE to this "One of a Kind" collection that has earned a World Record status and has gained the reputation as the most premiere private collection world wide! I have consistently proven my passion and dedication to this collection and it's a huge part of my life of which I share online with thousands of people. I want to thank you in advance for any help no matter how small to help me achieve my Ultimate Goal of 1000 hand grippers! Thanks for your time in reading my story!

There has been $150.00 raised in 12 days by 4 individuals! I have completed my design of the display I will be using for the "Grips TOP 50" and now I just have to make it come to life and build the actual display then start adding grippers with names and faces of the people that make Grip what it is today! I have a vision that I want ALL to see! Thanks for all the support and to those that have donated to this ongoing project! Have a Grip Day!!!

UPDATE: I have lowered the amount I would like to raise for my Grip Museum expansion and updates and I thought it only right to explain my decision.

First, I could easily use $2500.00 to expand the Grip Museum but I think I was looking too far forward and maybe take things a little slower and 1 step at (project) a time.

My main project I am working towards is to build a display that will hold 50 hand grippers and each hand gripper will represent an individual in grip that is significant in numerous ways either by feats accomplished, historical significance, contributor in some unique or significant way etc. Along with each gripper will be a picture of the individual with their name displayed. The name of this project will be The TOP 50 of Grip!

This will be a permanent display for all to see and enjoy! not only will 50 individuals be recognized but I will also do a separate write up of each individual and their accomplishments and make it know on FB and my blog and shortly after the completion of this project I will do a YouTube video explaining and going over details of the project.

It's my hope that all those that love Grip or have an interest in what i am doing will help me out with donations to make this vision come to fruition! The grip Museum will only grow as funds allow and I am at a point where I need assistance to improve and expand the museum!

Thanks for your time and support and I will give updates as soon as there's any changes or additions. I will always be willing to give a documented account with receipts of where ALL funds were spent and used for this project!

I LOVE GRIP!!!

One thing I failed to mention that was brought to my attention by a close grip friend is that these donations are not just going to help me as an individual grow my gripper collection. This collection is also an ongoing collection of hand gripper and grip history. I don't just buy a gripper or grippers and hang them on the wall or place them in a special display. I also document to the best of my knowledge (through research and help of a few historians) the history of each gripper. Lastly, all grippers or any other grip item on display in the museum is to never be sold, traded, or given away. I have had 2 different individuals offer to buy the entire collection and without hesitation the answer was NO! This has become far more than just my personal collection! This has become a passion and darn near obsession to collect and preserve gripper/grip history! Thanks immensely for your time and support!

Figured I'd chip in the average price of my grippers. Best Wishes MJ.
