Saving Shasta

Tax deductible
Shasta was put on hold for adoption, and while she was being spayed, she had to be resuscitated 3 times; the vet discovered Shasta has a diaphragmatic hernia as a result of being kicked.
The people who were going to adopt Shasta didn't want to adopt her and fall in love with her knowing she could live 10 years OR she could die tomorrow, and we don't blame them; It's rough to love and lose a pet.
The surgery she requires is extremely expensive, and our small shelter doesn’t have the funds to cover the surgery.
We found a vet in Denver that is willing to help us get this life saving surgery for Shasta, but we need your help. Shasta is still full of life and can live a happy, healthy life only if she can get this surgery. At only a year old this sweet baby should have years left to enjoy life.
