Brünnhilde's Medical Fund

Hi, my name is Brünnhilde (Hildi for short).
Twenty years of being on some very nasty medications-for a condition I never had-has given me a host of health problems. I was put on anti-psychotic drugs when what I actually have is epilepsy.
After six months, I developed insulin-dependent diabetes. And those medications made the diabetes extremely difficult to control.
Finally I got off those awful drugs, but the complications are really making my life hard, painful...and expensive. In fact, for most of this year I have been essentially house bound.
I was hospitalized with gastroparesis this spring, and now I'm on a course of Xifaxan for small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). I have been told to see a liver specialist this fall, and I still need insulin every day.
But what I dread the most is getting my teeth fixed; between the dry mouth caused by the medications and the uncontrolled biting during seizures, most of my teeth are broken, missing, or decayed. Due to the extent of dental work that I need, I will need to get it done under anesthesia when I'm a little healthier.
Long story short, I have a ton of health problems and even with insurance I'm still having a really hard time making ends meet.
It is not easy for me to ask for help like this. I truly appreciate any and all kindness that you may share.
