Volunteer trip to help P.R

Wow, how do I start? I'm trying to raise enough money to send people to Puerto Rico, and help muck out houses of many families that lost everything. I joined a group called Team Rubicon, and spent a week with them in Beaumont, TX helping muck out houses. The impact of helping a community in need was the most rewarding part. Team Rubicon is a veteran group and started after the earth quakes in Haiti. I have medically retired from the army after doing tours in Afghanistan and Iraq and also becoming a Drill Sergent. I have the leadership skills to  help the communities in Puerto Rico  with restoration of homes and medical care. I currently have many people wanting to go and help for weeks on end, leaving their families to help out other families in need. The money donated will benefit more than just the people of Puerto Rico, it will help the volunteers build long lasting friendships and a sense of pride. The funds will be used to book plane tickets and buy supplies for volunteers. We are planing on staying in churches and on the road, trying to reach the people that need the most help. I'm proud to be trying to help these people, and can't wait to document the journey of veterans helping and building better environment for the people of Puerto Rico.
