Volunteer Trip to Ghana and Lima

Hi, my name is Cath Wright, I am 18 years old and I attend St Edwards College, Liverpool.

I have been given the opportunity, along with one of my friends, to volunteer with the Christian Brothers in both Ghana (in Kanvilli School, Tamale which is a co-educational Primary and Secondary school) and Lima; for a total of 3 months starting on the 16th January 2018. In order to be able to be able to experience this one in a lifetime opportunity, I need to fundraise £3000.

This volunteering opportunity involves teaching English to school children and using my texties skills to help with craft activities in Ghana. Whilst in Lima, we will be teaming up with other volunteers to help build a house to withstand earthquakes. Futhermore, I'm getting the chance to explore two amazing countries with one of my friends, whilst gaining experince that will benefit (hopefully) my future career, as a Children's Nurse.

The money I fundraise will go towards:
- Travel Expences.
- Tools/Building materials for the house.
- Presents for the children. (stationary and small toys etc.)
- Vaccinations.
- Visas.

I am very fortunate to be able to take part in this adventure and any donations made would be greatly appreciated and put to good use!
