Vineyard Haven Post Office Project

Thank you everyone for your support. I was asked to make a place for online donating so here it is plus my story. I was inspired to do this by my uncle Derek Cimeno who was big into preserving the island and giving back to the community to make it a nicer place for everyone. I was also was inspired by the friends of vineyard haven who would improve their community by donating their time. The post office is such a focal point of vineyard haven being one first places you see when your coming of the boat. Its been in bad shape for quite some time so I started asking around to see why it wasn't being maintained. I was told a few things but it boiled down to it not being in the budget. I then contacted the post master to see if was ok for me take the time to make it over. she was so happy and said go for it . so I started and a woman gave me paise and posted it on islanders talk and people sent overwhelming support. Now I would like to make this place something islanders can be proud of. If anyone would like to donate anything to the project contact me or see me putting is some hard work at the post office.
