At Vietnam Vet Radio (VVR) you do not need to be a Vietnam Veteran to enjoy the Music, Fun and Friends you will meet, there are a host of wonderful Ladies too among the Friends at VVR.  Come on over we would love to meet you !!

Thank you for your Support of our Vietnam Vets  !!

Vietnam Vet Radio is a unique one-of-a-kind internet radio station in that it is a non-traditional ministry to Vietnam War Veterans, their families, and friends. Vietnam Vet Radio believes, as did the founders of this great country, that Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness is a God-given right to every human being. Veterans of the Vietnam War, during their service in-country and upon returning home, were generally looked upon as less-than-deserving of that right. As a result a spiritual battle has been going on in the minds and hearts of a great many Vietnam War veterans; a struggle that has lasted for decades and continues to affect, not only the veteran, but family and friends as well.

Bennie P. Blount, founder and manager of Vietnam Vet Radio, is an ordained minister and fellow Vietnam War veteran. He was ordained in a small rural Baptist church, Bethel Baptist Church in Prescott, Arkansas, in 1978. It is not the plan of Vietnam Vet Radio to teach or promote any denominational doctrine or religious creed. Rather, we believe that by helping to restore the dignity and respect of Vietnam Veterans we can bring Life, Liberty, and Happiness in its fullness to every Vietnam War veteran. We do this, not by traditional preaching and teaching. We do this by presenting positive dialog and playing the music we all enjoyed in the days of our innocence. Joy is a gift from God. Our goal is to bring that gift to every Vietnam Veteran.

I was a kid growing up during the Vietnam war. Our neighbor's son was drafted and served. He came home missing both his legs. This had a profound affect on me. To all those who served, who made it home and didn't make it home, my heartfelt thanks, admiration and respect. You will never be forgotten.
