Just like thousand of others, our children and grandchild lost everything during this historic flood. As our children and grandchild are safe and their two dogs were rescued, we are truly blessed at this time.
During the flood, our children had over 5 feet of water inside their home, therefore losing everything inside and out including one of their vehicles.
Even with the devastation of their home, they have also taken the time to help others with the clean up and stripping of their homes as well.
We want to help Michael, Ashley, Hayden and our unborn grandchild by raising money for their living expenses which would include clothing, food, transportation and shelter for the next several months as they begin the rebuilding process of their home.
As we all would normally never ask for help and are always the ones doing the help for others, we are now asking for help for our children. We know this will be a long and stressful process, but with help from family and friends we are sure this rebuilding process will be a positive and growing time for all of us.
Even though Michael and Ashley lost everything in their home, they have kept such a positive attitude that has shocked all of us and made us even more proud to be their parents. Even though they have lost all baby momentous of Hayden that can't be replaced and momentos they have gathered through their marriage, they are in need to replace the items that can be and restart the rebuilding process of their home and new momentos.
We all have been very proud of our children during this difficult time as they have kept an upbeat attitude the whole time and have always kept their eye on the positives while they are in the rebuilding process of their home and possessions.
Michael and Ashley has made us all proud to be their parents during this devastating time. They have truly shown us how to see the positive in something truly negative and to keep their heads held high. They are the proud parents of our two year old grandson, and two granddogs Hazel and Daisy. We would all appreciate any donation to help our children in this rebuilding process. No donation is too small.
We would also like to thank all the family and friends that has been at their home helping with the clean up since the day they were able to get to their home, we could truly never thank you all enough.
