Hello Friends & Family,
I have decided to create a go fund me account for my brother and his two beautiful little girls. Here's why I am asking for help.
My brother is a kind and loving soul. He served our US military in the US Army for over 8 years. He currently receives very little per month from military medical leave benefits. It is not enough to support his family. He served three tours in the Middle East. The benefits our injured veterans receive are not enough. My brother suffers from physical and mental injuries suffered in his tours. Now he just wants to be a father to his girls and get them an education. He served his country well. He even gave his car to his ex-wife so his children could have transportation to school. Unfortunately that car was repossessed because payments were not made by her. He is in desperate need of a reliable vehicle. Sadly and tragically his ex-wife and mother to his twin 10 year old girls died in a hiking accident in Southern Colorado on April 29th ,2018. He has sacrificed so much and I am asking that good people help him out so he can provide for his children. He must rise to the challenge of raising two young twin girls who no longer have a mother. He is up to the challenge but I want to help him. upon retiring from the Army he returned home to Antonito CO to help with his ill grandmother and also take care of her home. After her death in 2017 he helped organize her belongings with the help of many family members.
He even did the nearly impossible task, he got us all together for a family reunion in November 2018. This was my grandmas dying wish! She wanted have all her kids and their grandkids and great grandkids together one last time in her home! She wanted family to forgive and forget their differences and meet for the love of family and the future! Richard Duran was the inspiration for this wonderful family reunion.
On April 29th, 2018 a tragic event happened that would change everything for my brother and his two girls! Something they had no idea would happen to someone they loved so much. The loss of his girls mother and his friend. It broke their hearts & souls . Even though they weren't together as a couple, they seemed to have an amazing friendship. They realized it wasn't meant for them to be together in this world, but it didn't mean they couldn't be friends. They made it work! My brother loved Selene dearly in his heart and soul. They lost a mother, a friend and a wife. My brother and his girls are going through some hard times, right now as they try to heal. I know with love and support from kind, loving and caring souls, you can make a difference for them!
God gives us purpose to serve and help others! I am reaching out to all of you for help and support them.
