This is Rhonda Hawthorne - a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College whose alumni know and love Valerie and her family! I am from Massachusetts, but the Walters family is living in Florida. They have expressed extreme gratitude for your gifts, which have helped them to build back the essentials. Valerie's brother, Curtis, has been the in-between guy, making sure there's money in the GoFundMe account and getting it to the family. Thank you, Curtis!

One of my very best friend's sister lost her entire home last night. She and her family are safe, but have lost a lot. Please consider praying for them and, if you can, giving. We are setting up this fund and their friend, Amanda O'Donoughue, posted this along with another way to donate if it is easier for you:
Last night my heart broke. One of my best friends lost her home in a fire. Valerie and her family have always been the first ones out the door to help me and any others that are in need. I am asking my online community to please consider donating to this family of six. Valerie has a 2 year old daughter, two 6 year old boy twins and a 9 year old boy. They need everything. I have set up a pay pal account for donations here: [email redacted] and will take other donations at my home 1211 NE 5th terrace, Gainesville, Florida 32601.
They live on a working farm, with 4 horses, 4 cows, chickens, turkeys and dogs. Her family made it out, and now we need to get them through this. prayers for my friend and her family are accepted, also please consider sharing this post.
