Vans In Need of Immediate Repair due to Vandals
Tax deductible
PRESS RELEASE
Community Program Vehicles Targeted in a String of Multiple Thefts
Little Earth Residents Association (LERA) is a non-profit organization in the heart of South Minneapolis. Many youth and elder residents benefit from the culturally specific programming provided, as well as transportation services. Most recently, the vehicles that serviced the community were vandalized and disabled when the catalytic converters were stolen. Without transportation, the Little Earth community will suffer as many residents are in need of transportation to various destinations. Due to this misfortune, LERA is unable to support our residential community this holiday season. LERA lacks the immediate funding to replace/repair these vehicles and are looking to the greater community for support. Your support ensures that our most vulnerable residents continue to benefit from the services that LERA provides. Your generosity ensures that a young person makes it to school on time, an athletic team makes it to their next game, and an elder is able to attend a health appointment. Transportation is critical in our community. With the holiday season in full swing, we are devastated that we will not be able to support our residents. LERA appreciates any help that you are willing to provide.
Monetary donations may be dropped off or mailed to: 2495 18th Avenue S, Minneapolis, MN 55404
Or by donating to LERA’s Go Fund Me Account
Please make checks payable to: Little Earth Residents Association
Please designate funds to “Van Repair Fund” in memo
