Van for Natalie's House

Natalie's House is a safe haven for girls who are recovering from sexual exploitation and abuse, crime victims in need of a safe haven, and runaways believed to be victims of, or at risk for, abuse or exploitation, including survival sex. Natalie's House is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization sponsored by Arizonans for the Protection of Exploited Children and Adults (www.protectchild.org). Natalie's House is licensed by the Arizona Department of Child Safety to provide group home foster care to girls, ages 9-14.
Natalie's House is in desperate need of a reliable mini-van. Their current van has over 275,000 miles on it and is almost 18 years old. The air-conditioning works about half the time (air-conditioning is a 'must' for those who live in AZ). The van is used to take the girls wherever they need to go - doctor's appointments, school, etc. Reliable transportation is not only important for routine transportation, but more important for those emergencies that are bound to happen. All funds raised will go directly into a special account for the specific purpose of raising money to purchase a good reliable used mini-van. Because of the condition of their current van, it is imperative that funds are raised quickly. Our goal is to be able to purchase a different van by Christmas.
Helping girls (especially girls this age) is so important. Their care and well-being is the #1 priority of the Director at Natalie's House. They have suffered so much in their young lives already. Please consider helping raise funds for a different van so that we may make this Christmas wish come true!
